Text Message Alerts during a Pulse Campaign can be sent as a SMS message using the e-mail delivery when a SMS Gateway if not available.
In order to send the text message, the format for sending an e-mail to a cell phone must be known. Formats will vary from carrier to carrier.
The destination / address for the text message must be entered into the same location as the e-mail delivery option. See example below.

The message delivered to a cell phone using this method is a bit more cluttered with extra verbiage. Also, longer messages will be split into multiple messages. However, it does allow for text message deliveries without the need for a SMS gateway.
Some carriers allow MMS messages. This method / format will provide a less cluttered message.
