Description
Sometimes Cyara is producing 0% Recognition results for test steps that have a leading wildcard. The leading wildcard is usually used by many Cyara users to ignore a music or sounds that precede the test's speech announcement.
While it is absolutely logical way to use it some test cases generate unexpected 0% Confidence result.
Solution
In order to avoid False Positives and make Cyara Test Cases behavior more predictable in such situations, when a music or sounds are played before the speech, we recommend to take the following approach:
- Remove the leading {*} wildcard from the Test Step
- Use Language tag with -DF flag to make Cyara less sensitive to sounds and music (See the Disable the False Positive Algorithm article)
