7.8 New Features
[CP-8176] - Feature: Cyara 3.0 API - New Route for Campaigns
New API Routes are available for Voice and Non-Voice Campaigns to Create, Update, Execute, and
Delete.
[CP-8819] - Feature: Crawler - Choice Variable Support
Choice Variables are now supported when crawling CX Models.
[CP-8984] - Feature: Scheduled Custom Pulse Reports now can contain sub-reports
The Scheduled Custom Pulse reporting options have been extended to include Sub-reports for non-successful categories.
[CP-9486] - Feature: Integration With ServiceNow
Cyara provides the capability of configuring integration with ServiceNow. This enables a ticket to
be created from the Detail Result page of a Test Result, gathering information about the failed Call.
[CP-9604] - Feature: CX Models - Crawling
CX Models with Decision Elements, GoTo Elements, and Data-Driven parameters can now be
crawled.
[CP-9625] - Feature: Cyara 3.0 API - Fetching Blocks for Account
A new API Route has been made available to fetch Blocks attached to an Account.
[CP-9626] - Feature: Cyara 3.0 API - Fetching Linked Test Cases for a Given Block
A new API Route is available to fetch details of linked Test Cases for a specified Block.
[CP-9835] - Feature: SIP over TCP for CE.Next
CE.Next now supports SIP over TCP in addition to the already supported UDP.
[CP-9934] - Feature: CX Model Duplication & In-Line Editing of Model Name
CX Models can now be duplicated using the action menu. Additionally, the CX Model name can now
be edited directly on the CX Model editing screen instead of the settings menu.
[CP-10173] - Feature: Default PSST Setting added to Platform Configuration
A new setting to set a default Post-Speech Silence Timeout (PSST) has been added to the Cyara
Platform Configuration page.
[CP-10208] - Feature: Cyara.Storage Azure Support
Cyara.Storage has added support for Azure for file storage. This is in addition to the already
supported Amazon S3 and File System options.
[CP-10284] - Feature: CE.Next - SRV Support for Endpoint Registration
A new feature for supporting SRV records has been added to CE.Next for endpoint registration. If
multiple SRV records are found, the registration will round-robin among them.
7.8 Platform Updates
[CP-8751] - Changed: Duplicate Folder Name Constraint
A database constraint has been added to prevent duplicate folder names within the Cyara Platform
(for Blocks, Test Cases, Agents, Behaviours, etc).
[CP-9582] - Changed: Re-running Failed Test Cases in a Velocity Campaign
Velocity Campaigns can be re-run for only the Test Cases that returned a Failed result. Users can also
specify a number of retries for the failed Test Cases. Each subsequent iteration only tests the failed
Test Cases of the previous iteration.
[CP-9642] - Changed: Performance Improvements in Port Usage Report for large Stitched
Campaigns
Reports for some large Stitched Campaigns were failing with a timeout.
[CP-10174] - Changed: Email Addresses as Portal Logins
The restriction to prevent using email addresses as usernames in the Cyara Portal has now been
lifted.
[CP-10221] - Changed: CX Model Validation Message Update
Some CX Model Validation messages were re-worded for clarity.
[CP-10235] - Changed: CE.Next - Automated RtpThreads Configuration
CE.Next will now automatically calculate the number of RtpThreads based on available resources.
[CP-10319] - Changed: .NET Runtime Version Update
All Cyara components now require .NET runtime version 4.8. The Cyara.Notification service requires
.NET Core runtime version 2.2.5. Please consult with the Deployment Guide for further details.
[CP-10328] - Changed: Cyara Storage Migration Utility Batching
The Cyara Storage Migration Utility has been changed to work in a batched way to avoid database
timeouts with very large installations.
[CP-10374] - Changed: CX Models - Amazon Connect Export Warning
When exporting a CX Model to the Amazon Connect flow format, a warning will now be displayed if
unsupported elements are included in the CX Model.
[CP-10383] - Changed: CX Models - Crawls Can be Started on Any Element in the Model
Previously Crawls could only be started from Menus, and not individual Elements. Crawls can now be
started from any Element within the CX Model, with the exception of GoTo Elements.
[CP-10428] - Changed: Javascript Resources Loaded with .json Extension
Javascript resources are now loaded from the Cyara Portal with a .json file extension.
[CP-10439] - Changed: All CLI labels amended with ANI
All CLI (Caller Line Identification) labels within the Portal have been amended with ANI (Automatic
Number Identification) for clarity.
[CP-10496] - Changed: Special characters in Called Number on Voice Test Cases
The following characters - inverted comma, quotation marks and angle brackets are now considered
as invalid in the Called Number field. Any existing Test Cases containing these characters will require
updating.
[CP-10500] - Changed: Display of Large Data Sets
Data Sets with many columns will now be spaced out and scrollable horizontally.
7.8 Issue Fixes
[CP-6920] - Fixed: Custom Report Type Classification
The Custom Report Type has the correct label of "Web" applied to the Web channel in exported CSV
files.
[CP-8022] - Fixed: Stitched Campaigns Reports with Deleted Campaigns
Stitched Campaign reports will now remain accessible if a Campaign within that report is deleted.
[CP-8576] - Fixed: CX Models - Preventing Adding Invalid Elements
The "+" sign under the transfer Element has been removed, as no inputs are allowed there.
[CP-9273] - Fixed: CX Models - Spaces in DTMF Inputs Ignored in Generated Test Cases
When generating Test Cases from a CX Model, spaces in DTMF inputs will no longer be incorrectly
removed.
[CP-9618] - Fixed: Failure to Upload Full Call Recording File on Call Engine
Aborted Test Cases run on a Call Engine will no longer incorrectly log that it failed to upload the Full
Call Recording.
[CP-9679] - Fixed: Incorrect Confidence Rating Display
For Call Engine or CE.Next, when the following conditions were met:
- Configured in Lite mode.
- A Step contained the {BypassRecognition} Tag.
- No audio was received within the maximum threshold...
A confidence score was incorrectly returned.
[CP-9696] - Fixed: Called Number Data-Driven Variables
Using the Called Number field on a Test Case with a data-driven variable and the "From:" format will
now function correctly.
[CP-9726] - Fixed: Deleting a CX Model with no Called Number
Deleting a CX Model that doesn't contain a Called Number will no longer return an error.
[CP-9806] - Fixed: Exporting a large number of Test Cases
Exporting a large number of Test Cases will no longer generate a general error.
[CP-9832] - Fixed: 2.x REST API - Issues on Accounts Configured for SAML SSO
Some of the 2.x REST APIs would result in an error on Accounts configured for SAML SSO.
[CP-9912] - Fixed: Invalid CX Model Data Validation Messages
Exported Data Sets from CX Models, that contain {Notification} columns, can now be successfully
imported.
[CP-9942] - Fixed: CX Models - "All Else" Option
When selecting "All Else" for a Decision Element, this will now be correctly matched against any
value that is not explicitly referenced in one of the other options.
[CP-10045] - Fixed: Removed Duplicate Data in CX Model Generated Test Cases
When generating Data-Driven Test Cases from a CX Model it was possible to include multiple copies
of the same scenario values.
[CP-10048] - Fixed: Cyara Identity Service Temp Files
The Cyara Identity Service will no longer store temp files in the Windows temp directory.
[CP-10055] - Fixed: CX Model - Duplication Exceptions
Double-clicking the Duplicate button on a CX Model will no longer result in an exception.
[CP-10130] - Fixed: CX Models - Empty Steps in Generated Test Cases
CX Models with attached Data Sets that have generated Test Cases will no longer generate scenarios
with empty step values.
[CP-10146] - Fixed: CX Models - GoTo Element Name Changes
When changing the name of an Element that is the destination of a GoTo Element, the origination
GoTo Element will now update its name correctly.
[CP-10160] - Fixed: CE.Next - Multi-Step Prompt Handling
In cases where a Test Case was run in CE.Next, it could crash if it contained Multi-Step prompts with
a PSST value of zero seconds.
[CP-10183] - Fixed: Custom Pulse Reports not rescheduling on Accounts Configured for SAML SSO
Custom Pulse Reports on Accounts configured for SAML SSO will now run on the configured
schedule.
[CP-10184] - Fixed: CX Models - Auto-generated Test Cases Losing Attached Data
When a CX Model contains Data Set error notifications, the auto-generated Test Cases will now
contain the correct Data-Driven variables tab and values.
[CP-10188] - Fixed: Test Cases with Ignored Last Steps
Test Cases that contained a {Ignore} Tag on the last Step would incorrectly disconnect while
ignoring and never send a Test Result back to the Voice Scheduler.
[CP-10196] - Fixed: CE.Next - Calling with Unsupported Codecs
Calls made with unsupported codecs will no longer lock a CE.Next port indefinitely.
[CP-10201] - Fixed: Improved Delete Test Case Folder Operations
Improved the delete Test Case folder operation to run more efficiently, and to not block other
database operations.
[CP-10205] - Fixed: CX Models - Visio Export General Error
Visio exports for specific CX Models will no longer generate a general error.
[CP-10206] - Fixed: CX Models - Unable to Change PSST
Under rare circumstances, updates to the PSST setting of a CX Model would be incorrectly ignored
and set to the default of 2.5 seconds.
[CP-10217] - Fixed: Error Retrieving Bulk Folder Paths
In certain circumstances, running Audio File Reconciliation via the Web Portal could cause an ERROR
to be logged and the page would not render correctly.
[CP-10219] - Fixed: CX Models - Database Deadlock
Occasionally a database deadlock could occur when querying running Crawls and deleting other CX
Models simultaneously.
[CP-10220] - Fixed: Cyara Storage Temporary Files
The Cyara Storage service will now correctly delete temporary files.
[CP-10233] - Fixed: Dashboard - Service Group Dot Sizes
Running a Campaign with Service Groups that both share the same duration will now return the
correct results.
[CP-10266] - Fixed: CX Models - Validation with Tags as Column Headers
CX Model Variable Validation will no longer return an error if a Tag is used for a column name in the
attached Data Set.
[CP-10315] - Fixed: CE.Next - No RTP Ports Available
Under rare circumstances, CE.Next was unable to allocate resources for speech recognition, which
incorrectly resulted in calls failing with the error "No RTP ports available".
[CP-10325] - Fixed: Cyara.Web.Datafeeder startup
Cyara.Web.Datafeeder will now load correctly on startup.
[CP-10343] - Fixed: CX Models - Visio Exports Missing Element Content
CX Models that are exported to Visio will correctly contain content within Elements, such as phone
number or prompt information.
[CP-10344] - Fixed: CX Models - Empty Dataset Notification Rows
When generating a Data Set for a CX Model, any relevant notification messages will be added as new
lines on the generated boilerplate.
[CP-10348] - Fixed: Alarm Profile Dashboards Update
When editing an Alarm Profile, the Dashboards table on the "Email & WebHook" tab, only
Dashboards that have one or more Service Groups will be displayed.
[CP-10401] - Fixed: CE.Next - Failure to Parse SIP 200 OK
Under certain circumstances, CE.Next could fail to parse the SIP messages 200 OK or 183 Session, if
they contained unrecognized attributes, resulting in calls not being answered.
[CP-10429] - Fixed: SMS Service Crash
When an SMS Campaign with high concurrency and a single called number was run, the SMS
Cyara.SMS.Customer service could crash.
[CP-10434] - Fixed: Downloading Missing Recording General Error
When attempting to download a Call or Step Recording that did not exist, a general error was
incorrectly displayed, instead of a useful error.
[CP-10435] - Fixed: Cyara Storage Padding Error
In high volume Cyara Platform installations, when the Storage Service is experiencing larger than
usual delays in processing requests, an error message could be logged similar to "padding is invalid
and cannot be removed".
[CP-10457] - Fixed: CX Model with Multiple GoTo Elements can Trigger High CPU Load
For certain CX Models, GoTo Elements could create a high count of Model paths. The Model path
coverage has been reduced to the next prompt after a GoTo to ensure that a jump has happened.
The target Element paths still will be covered by a Test Case that goes through them directly without
GoTo Elements.
[CP-10515] - Fixed: Double Tapping "Save Details" in Campaign Screen can Launch a Campaign
Multiple Times
Under certain circumstances, clicking the "Save Details" button multiple times on the Campaign
screen could incorrectly launch multiple Campaign runs.
[CP-10516] - Fixed: DTMF Replies Being Spoken
In rare cases, the DTMF reply within a Test Case would be incorrectly spoken instead of playing the
correct DTMF tone.
[CP-10536] - Fixed: CE.Next - Failure to Create Full Call Recording
Under rare circumstances, a Test Case run via CE.Next with a long PauseBeforeCall time directive
from the Voice Scheduler as part of Campaign ramp up, could prevent CE.Next from generating a Full
Call Recording.
[CP-10552] - Fixed: CE.Next SIP Bye Message
SIP Bye messages will now be sent to the correct negotiated address when multiple VIA headers are
present.
[CP-10580] - Fixed: Exception when saving Campaign
Fixed a rare scenario where if the set of Test Cases within a Campaign was updated, an exception
would be rendered and the save would fail.
