Cyara does support ANI/CLI/Caller-ID Spoofing. This feature allows customers to override the default Caller ID assigned to the Cyara Trunk and simulate real-unique callers reaching out to the IVR.
To use this feature a Cyara user needs to set a special "From:" parameter into the Called Number field of a Test Case or CX Model. See the example below:
These numbers can also be data driven. In this case a Cyara user needs to set a variable name, as shown below:
You also need to have a CSV file uploaded to the test case or a Data Set.
The complete procedure can be described by the following steps:
-
Prepare a list of dialed number in a csv file. Let us say the column heading is Number.
-
Under this column enter the numbers to be dialed and save a csv file.
-
Set the data driven option in a test case to Yes
-
Upload the csv file.
-
Let us assume you want +12345678910 as caller id.
-
In the Called Number field of this test case, enter the number in the format [Number];From:+12345678910 (The use ;From:Anonymous will produce a blank ANI.)
-
Save the test case and put it in a campaign.
Important:
- Use the plus sign and 11 digits e.164 format: "+"country_code area_code phone_number
- "From" attribute is case sensitive.
- ANI must be a real one and belong either to Cyara or Customer who is dialing the IVR. Fake ANIs may be ignored, replaced, or calls can be blocked by Carriers
