20.2 Known Issue Notification
[CP-14602 & CP-14411] - Notice of Known Issue: CX Models.
Known issues with CX Models. Unchanged in the 20.1.1 and 20.2.0 releases, these issues are being worked on internally at Cyara and will be resolved in an upcoming update.
Some CX Model editor operations are slow. These operations include the following; deleting an
element, cut/copy & pasting an element, loading a model Issues with Bulk operations in the index page. No issues have been observed with copying/moving a single model, However, attempting to perform operations on multiple models may cause issues.
Copy operations are not a risk as the copy can be reattempted, but move operations that fail can produce unexpected results.
Move operations on multiple models may produce unexpected irreversible results and should be temporarily avoided.
20.2 New Features
[CP-10956] - Feature: New Account Role Types
New Account Role Types are available for users of the Cyara Platform. These new Roles are split into business units such as QA Engineer, Business and Administration.
[CP-13172] - Feature: Dynamic Data & Step Result Transcription
A new option to transcribe a single failed/satisfactory Step within a Test Case Result is now available.
This allows you to quickly compare the Expect to Hear text with what Cyara Speech Recognition is generating, speeding up Test Case troubleshooting.
[CP-13213] - Feature: Cyara Virtual Agent - Data Driving Keys
A new option is available to data drive both keys and values for a Cyara Virtual Agent. Consult the Cyara User Guide section on Cyara Virtual Agent Test Cases for more information on this feature.
[POR-1399] - Feature: Hebrew, Portuguese, Malaysian and Ukrainian Update for Cyara Speech Recognition
Additional languages are now available for Cyara Speech Recognition, consult the Cyara User Guide on how to include these languages in your Test Cases or CX Models.
[CP-13294] - Feature: CX Model - Modules
Modules are sub-flows within your CX Model that can be reused and make organising a new CX
Model much easier. This is the first implementation of Modules in a Cyara CX Model.
Currently Modules do not support Test Case generation and are only available on CX Models that have not been generated as the result of a Crawl. These issues will be addressed in a future Cyara Release.
[CP-14471] - Feature: Call Recording Availability Period
Call recording availability period has been added to the platform as a configurable value. Recordings that are older than the set availability period will not be available for playback or download.
On Cyara Cloud the default retention period will be set to 90 days.
[CP-13214] - Feature: Ignoring Specific Keys in CX-AX Agent Data Validations
Specified Key pairs can now be ignored for CX-AX Agent Data Validations. Consult the Cyara User Guide for more information on how to use this feature.
[CP-13790] - Feature: Web Test Cases - Support for auto-detecting the frame
For Web Test Case functions, frames can be identified by index or by name. Sometimes is difficult to identify the frame index used if a name has not been used. This feature provides a new option of providing an "Any" option into the frame. If you provide the frame value of "*", it will identify the frame that has defined the selector of your function automatically.
[CP-11549] - Feature: Cyara 3.0 API - Abort Campaign
A new Cyara 3.0 API endpoint is now available to Abort an In Progress Campaign for a supplied
account ID.
[CP-11577] - Feature: Cyara 3.0 API - Campaign Run Summary Endpoint
A new Cyara 3.0 API endpoint is available to fetch Campaign run summaries.
[CP-11578] - Feature: Cyara 3.0 API - New Test Results Endpoints
Cyara API 3.0 now supports retrieving Campaign Run Test Results and Test Step Results with newly available endpoints.
[CP-13017] - Feature: Web Test Cases now provide DOM events for input changes
To properly support web apps written in modern frameworks such as Angluar, Vue and React,
whenever we change the value on an input field we need to raise the appropriate events needed for these frameworks.
20.2 Platform Updates
[CP-13363] - Changed: AGD Tone Improvements
AGD Tones have been changed to resolve intermittent issues with some ringtones overlapping with AGD command tones. Consult the Cyara Knowledge Center Article on AGD Tone Changes for more information on this change, as well as a guide on how to update your AGD-Based Test Cases.
[CP-12880] - Changed: Integration - Jira User Stories
Issue Tickets created by the Jira Integration can now be attached to existing User Stories within Jira.
[CP-13218] - Changed: Virtual Agent Vendor name list improvement
Genesys vendor names have been updated to match the new naming scheme. Type of
communication library added to the name to be more clear if Genesys Web Services are used or
legacy Platform SDK.
[CP-13223] - Changed: Integration - PagerDuty Incident ID
Links in Cyara to PagerDuty Incidents raised from Test Case results will now contain the PagerDuty Incident ID in the link for easier identification.
[CP-13946] - Changed: Velocity PDF Reporting Size Limit
PDF export size for a Velocity Report is now limited to 500 records. If the required report has more than 500 records to display, these can still be exported in CSV format.
[CP-14322] - Changed: Spanish Voice "Diego" Change
Voice Spanish-Castilian Diego has been changed to Argentinian Spanish Diego
Test Cases with steps containing the Voice Tag for Spanish Diego must be updated to reflect {Voice Argentinian Spanish, Diego}
20.2 Issue Fixes
[CP-10373] - Fixed: Cyara 3.0 API - Invalid Authorization Response
API endpoints now return 403 Forbidden Error instead of 500 when used with invalid Authorization tokens.
[CP-12701] - Fixed: Database utility updated to reflect latest database schema
Database utility updated to reflect schema changes which were introduced in recent release
versions. Also backward compatibility was improved so for older database versions where a
matching utility is not available, this latest database utility can be used to attempt clean it up (as
always, perform a full database backup before attempting any database changes!).
[CP-12804] - Fixed: CX Models - JSON Export Issue
Resolved an issue where exporting a CX Model with an attached Dataset as a JSON Object would return an undefined error. CX Models with attached Datasets can now be exported as JSON.
[CP-12995] - Fixed: Cyara 3.0 API - Improved Model Error Handling
Improved API 3.0 response messages are now included when generic model validation errors occur due to missing plan types.
[CP-13040] - Fixed: CX Model - Cut/Copy Deselection
Clicking an element after selecting cut/copy no longer clears your selection.
[CP-13066] - Fixed: Cyara Agent - Broker Reconnect Internal Errors
Cyara.Agent will now correctly handle disconnection/re-connection of broker, which would have
previously resulted in Internal Error results for CVA Campaigns.
[CP-13095] - Fixed: Cyara Virtual Agent - Desktop Manager Improvements.
In the past it was not possible to close and start another instance of Desktop Manager without killing the process from Task Manager. Now it is possible to close the window and start the program again if required.
Note: Please wait for about 30+ seconds before starting new instance so that the previous instance has enough time to complete the shutdown process.
[CP-13131] - Fixed: Unable to Edit Referenced Classification Rule
Fixed the error when user attempted to edit a Classification rule that is also referenced in a
Validation rule.
[CP-13139] - Fixed: Test Case Data Set Download on Firefox
Data Sets with spaces in their name were not downloading with the full name in the Mozilla Firefox browser.
[CP-13153] - Fixed: Cyara Virtual Agent - Amazon Connect CX-AX synchronization issue
Resolved an issue where Cyara Virtual Agents using Amazon Connect wouldn't correctly capture the CLI to be used as synchronization ID causing sync errors.
[CP-13154] - Fixed: Cyara Virtual Agent - Amazon Connect CVA Behavior Error Logging
Using Classification/Validations with Amazon Connect CVA Agent Behaviors will no longer incorrectly include DEBUG error logs.
[CP-13159] - Fixed: SMS - Web Hook for Voice Interaction Causing SMS Test Failure
When a SMS Outbound Test Case was running, if an unexpected web hook request was received
(like a voice interaction), this would incorrectly be reported as an internal error.
[CP-13440] - Fixed: Cyara Virtual Agent - Twilio Flex Synchronization Issue
For Cyara Virtual Agents connecting to Twilio Flex, CLI is now correctly being collected in the acts for protocol event ringing, this resolves some synchronization issues.
[CP-13445] - Fixed: Web Test Cases incorrectly categorize a match fail with a responsive category
On the Dashboard when a web test case timed out waiting for an Expect match it would incorrectly classify this as a Responsive failure.
[CP-13493] - Fixed: Push Notifications for Mobile Pulse App on Android
When the Cyara Pulse app was in the background or not active, Push Notifications were not being received in certain circumstances.
[CP-13703] - Fixed: Improved the performance of Custom Pulse Reports
Improved the performance of database query used to generate Custom Pulse reports when Test
Runs were included.
[CP-13755] - Fixed: Dataset Update Last Modified Date Issue
The Dataset's Last Modified Date was not updated when an existing Dataset was replaced with new data. This could prevent a Test Case from using the new data values when it was run, using the previous run's version if no other Test Case changes were made.
[CP-13868] - Fixed: Call Engine - Speech Too Long error
Resolved an issue where Call Engine while in Lite mode running a Test Case that contains a BargeIn Tag and a sole Wild Card, would cause a NoInput error terminating the call.
[CP-13970] - Fixed: Cyara Virtual Agent - Genesys PureCloud CX-AX synchronization issue
CLI is now correctly captured by Cyara Virtual Agent when connecting to Genesys PureCloud and can now be used for CX-AX Test Case syncronization.
[CP-13989] - Fixed: CX Models - Unable to Copy Long Transcription Text
Users can now select to highlight and copy the text of longer transcribed prompts from the
transcription panel in a CX model.
[CP-14035] - Fixed: Cyara Virtual Agent - Wait Send DTMF Activity
The Wait Send DTMF Activity will no longer cause a Test Case to Timeout when used in a Cyara
Virtual Agent Campaign.
[CP-14128] - Fixed: CE.Next - RTP Packet Handling Improvements
Added several fixes to Call Engine Next with how it handles RTP packets. These fixes aim to prevent stray packets from other calls overlapping and being recorded for a wrong call.
[CP-14056] - Fixed: CX Models - IE11 Compatibility
Resolved an issue where certain CX Models would fail to load in the Internet Explorer 11 web
browser.
[CP-14064] - Fixed: CX Models - Export to Genesys PureCloud Issue
CX Models would fail to export to Genesys PureCloud Flow if they contained a multidigit capture directly prior to a transfer to user (Agent node). This scenario will now successfully export to Geneys PureCloud.
[CP-14099] - Fixed: CX Models - Large Model Exports to Genesys PureCloud
When exporting larger CX Models to Genesys PureCloud with 850+ elements, an error response was returned showing non-unique speech recognition values against different flow objects causing the export to fail. These larger CX Models can now be successfully exported to Genesys PureCloud.
