When conducting voice performance testing in order to achieve desired business objectives which usually focuses on speed, accuracy, response time and scalability of the system under test a set of metrics are usually defined which identifies how much workload the system can handle under extreme conditions. This might be in the form of peak Call Attempts per Second (CAPS), Busy-Hour Call Attempts (BHCA) and can sometimes be represented as an Hourly Call Volume figure to be satisfied.
In order to qualify the CX (Customer eXperience) against these objectives it is imperative the Test Cases and Cyara Voice Campaigns are configured accurately to these performance metrics. To assist in achieving the appropriate Test Case call duration based upon the number of voice ports available to satisfy the performance CAPS and/or hourly call volume figures a "Voice Call Performance Calculator" has been designed as attached.
This calculator aids in deriving the Test Case call length based upon the voice ports to achieve the desired CAPS rate and/or hourly call volume performance figures to satisfy the load conditions under test.
