21.2 End of Support Notice

Dragon & Krypton Service Changes

• • As the 21.1 Cyara Release was the last Cyara Release to support both Dragon and Krypton Speech Transcription Services, support for these services have now changed with the release of Cyara 21.2.
  • Google Transcriber is now the primary transcription service offered by Cyara.
  • Dragon Transcriber is no longer supported by the Cyara Platform (For both On-Premise and the Cyara Hosted Cloud Solutions).
  • Krypton Transcription can be deployed in an On-Premise environment upon request, please contact Cyara Support if this is a requirement for your upcoming deployment.

21.2 New Features

[POR-E-40] Feature Upgrade: Cyara Call Explorer out of BETA

• • Formerly named “Cyara Test Phone”, a new method of authoring Cyara Test Cases by placing a call manually into an IVR using a WebUI Phone. Cyara records all actions performed on this call and translates these steps into a Test Case.

[CP-16163] - Feature: A remote desktop pre-login script to bypass legal notice screen

• • Previously when opening a remote desktop session in Desktop Manager it was not possible to acknowledge a legal notice or perform a secondary login.
  • Now a PreLogin script can be uploaded to Desktop Manager which will execute a keyboard sequence after the remote desktop connection is established. The sequence is configurable and can bypass legal notice or send username and password for secondary authentication.
  • Note: For robust testing environment we still recommended to disable legal notices and secondary remote desktop login
    .

[CP-19390] - Feature: Microfocus ALM / QC integration for Cyara Cloud platform

• • Integration with Microfocus ALM / Quality Center 15.0.1, 15.5.0 versions.
  • The integration can export Voice Test Cases and Voice Campaign Results from Cyara Cloud to an ALM instance. The integration does not include the transfer of Test Case data drive details.
  • The integration requires connectivity from Cyara Cloud to an ALM instance either via Internet or a C3 connection. Connectivity can be established by entering username / password or Auth Key details.
  • Consult the Cyara User Guide available in Knowledge Center for more information on this integration.

[CP-19391] - Feature: Accessibility Improvements

• • Accessibility has been improved on the most used areas in Cyara Portal:
    • Test Cases / Blocks
    • Campaigns
    • CX Models
    • Data Sets
  • Improvements to Colour Contrast, Label / Aria references, Image alternative text

[CP-19333] - Feature: MOS and Confidence Score Columns are available in the grid view

• • MOS and Confidence Score Columns for available in the grid now for failed and satisfactory results and if there are no MOS values then there will be no selection available in the filter and if there are MOS and Confidence Values then filters can be applied with or without blanks
  • Export This View will now include MOS and Confidence Score columns as well wherever available

[CP-19658] - Feature: Save Button for Result Reclassification

• • Users can make changes and then click on a new SAVE button to save changes.
  • If users attempt to move away from the page without saving the changes, a browser prompt that you have unsaved changes will be displayed.
  • For large datasets, an additional warning dialogue will appear to warn of potential performance overheads.

[CP-19660] - Feature: Support for Bulk Reclassification for Results and Results Category

• • Bulk Reclassification for Results and Results Category is now supported, select multiple results and a single classification can be applied to all selected results.

[CP-19661] - Feature: Result Reclassification sorting and filter by Date/Time.

• • The ability to filter call results on date time has been added to Result Reclassification grid view

[CP-19346] - Feature: BargeIn Tag Implementation in CX Models

• • The BargeIn Tag is now supported in Cyara CX Models. The current implementation of this tag does not use the Tag Builder pop-up, instead the Tag is added directly to the Model Element. Support for configuring PSST of the BargeIn Tag via the Tag Builder will be added in an upcoming release.

[CP-19938] - Feature: New Tag - {SayDigits}

• • A new Tag is available to be used in both Cyara Test Cases and CX Models. This Tag allows users to setup 2-Factor Authentication responses where a PIN must be spoken to the target IVR for example. The SayDigits Tag will speak digits in the Reply With field. The {SayDigits} Tag is supported in CX Models, but currently can not be inserted via the TagBuilder, this functionality will be added in an upcoming Cyara Release.

[CP-19429] - Feature: MOS Reference and PreConnect Audio File are Locally Cached

• • To prevent Cyara storage outage due to too many requests, we added local Caching to CE.Next for MOS reference and PreConnect Audio files this will reduce number of requests dramatically resulting in less load on network and Cyara Media Storage.
  • New configuration parmeter added to TestCaseHandler section
  • CacheKeepTimeMinutes = default is 60 minutes.
  • This time is sliding and restarts every time the file is used.

21.2 Feature Changes

[CP-18712] - Changed: New Report Type to support Failure Reclassification

• • Existing Results Summary Reports for Cruncher, Velocity, Outbound are relabeled as Legacy Reports and New Reclassification View is labelled as Results Summary.

[CP-19185] - Changed: Counter on Results that have been modified

• • When Reclassifying Results a counter is now available to show how many results have been modified.

[CP-19432] - Changed: Retiring Transcription Technologies from Portal

• • Unsupported transcription technologies (Dragon, Ndev, AT&T and Krypton) have been retired from the portal UI, the existing test cases, CX Model and account configuration that uses unsupported speakers will be replaced by the Google equivalent.

[CP-19654] - Changed: Cyara API - MOS and Confidence Score Column Added

• • MOS and Confidence Score Column have been added the Get Reclassification Results API Endpoint.

[CP-19657] - Changed: Cyara internal results categories are unavailable to be reclassified

• • Users will see Cyara Internal categories in the results if any of the calls fail because of Cyara Internal Errors. However users will not be able to modify the results classification to these internal error categories.

[CP-20384] - Changed: Call Engine Next - Graceful Shutdown Parameter

• • A new parameter has been added to the config for Call Engine Next to allow for Graceful Shutdown. This setting will stop the Call Engine from taking new calls and will allow pending test cases to complete. The default setting for this parameter is 300 seconds.

[CP-20474] - Changed: Result Reclassification Loading Screen Update

• • While Saving, updating, and performing bulk edits, the visible loading spinner will show processing calls, and while loading the initial report it will show fetching calls to clarify the task being performed to the User.

[CP-17005] - Changed: Multi-day Load Test Booking Format Update

• • Load Test Bookings that run for multiple days will now be displayed on the Load Test Booking Calendar correctly.

[CP-20104] - Changed: Cyara 3.0 API - Audio upload provides an option to overwrite an existing file

• • A new option to overwrite an audio file has been added to the REST API
  • /v3.0/accounts/{accountId}/files

[CP-19948] - Changed: CEF and ChromeDriver updated to latest

• • The browser engine that drives Cyara Web Test Cases has been updated to the latest Chromium build (V88).
    
    

21.2 Issue Fixes

 

[CP-20643] - Fixed: SQL Timeouts while crawling a CX Model

• • For accounts with a large number of stored transcriptions created from past crawls, Crawler was timing out when querying the database for the entire set. To resolve this issue, we have now removed the need for Crawler to do this database query before adding new transcriptions.

[CP-19557] - Fixed: Bookings are displayed correctly in Monthly View for Admins

• • Bookings are displayed correctly in Monthly View for Admins, Earlier bookings were available in weekly view however missing from the monthly view

[CP-19642] - Fixed: Incorrect {Voice} Tag syntax in CX Model Tag Builder

• • The CX Model Tag Builder was incorrectly using the description of a voice instead of the code of a voice, when added to a CX model.
  • It will now add the correct syntax of:
  • {Voice Australian English, Karen}

[CP-20185] - Fixed: Pulse Dashboard obscured by the Ticker

• • When the Ticker was displayed, service groups at the bottom of the Dashboard could be incorrectly obscured.

[CP-20251] - Fixed: Pulse Dashboard Charts - Skip empty spots

• • When the time axis is plotted for the Dashboard charts, there will be gaps when the test cases do not run. This new option will remove the gaps from the chart.

[CP-20573] - Fixed: Cyara 3.0 API - Campaign Run Results failing for Test Cases created by Crawler

• • Resolved an issue where the retrieve Campaign run results API Endpoint would fail to retrieve results, if Test Cases within the Campaign were created by a CX Model Crawl.

[CP-19678] - Fixed: Cyara API - Failure to Import Test Cases with Blocks

• • Resolved an issue where customers were unable to use Test Case Import API to Import their Test Cases, if the Test Cases contained Blocks.

[CP-19963] - Fixed: Load Test Calendar Bookings - allowed to book instantly

• • Load Test Calendar bookings are now permitted for a time within the next few minutes, Users can override the time in the date and time dropdown field, rather than waiting for a booking slot 30 mins in advance.

[CP-20034] - Fixed: CX Model intermittently stops updating Menu Reply With fields

• • When updating the Reply With Elements of a Menu in quick succession, all updates after the first are reverted back to their old value, until the user pauses for a few seconds and makes redoes the changes.

[CP-20077] - Fixed: Web Test Result lost with Record Batch failure

• • When a Web Test case completes, results are batched and processed in bulk. If one of these results failed (due to a validation error) the whole batch was lost.
  • Now if a batch fails, all the results will be processed individually to ensure there are no records lost.

[CP-10861] - Fixed: Campaign Statuses logging exceptions

• • Some uses of the campaign status, such as Test Case folder deletion verification of the status of the campaign, could incorrectly log exceptions for certain status values.

[CP-17008] - Fixed: Zooming in the CX Model Editor would lose focus of the intended Element

• • When zooming in a CX Model, the navigator did not stay in it's intended location, causing the view to shift away from where the user wanted to focus. With this fix, zooming in or out will now keep the focus in the center of the screen.

[CP-17115] - Fixed: CX Model - Loading Icon locking edits

• • In certain circumstances, the loading wheel icon would take control away from the user for an extended period of time when adding a GoTo element to a CX Model.

[CP-17624] - Fixed: CX Models Missing Audio Recording File

• • Resolved an issue where Audio Recording Files are not loaded correctly into a CX Model and an error is displayed.

[CP-17727] - Fixed: CX Models - Audio Files not visible when located in sub-folders

• • In the CX Model editor PESQ test audio file selector dialog, audio files were not visible to the user when located in sub-folders.

[CP-18550] - Fixed: Voice Quality changing from MPSR to PESQ without Audio File or Data Driven Parameter

• • Resolved an issue where Voice Quality was incorrectly updating from MPSR to PESQ. This would occur when in the "Expect to Hear" pop-up dialog no audio file was selected, and the user changed to "Data Driven" tab and clicked on blue tick button without entering any value in Data Driven parameter field.

[CP-18693] - Fixed: CX Model - Confidence Check returns Internal Server Error

• • The Confidence Check button was incorrectly shown and was clickable, even in circumstances where there is no valid transcribed audio associated with a prompt which would cause Internal Server Errors.

[CP-19072] - Fixed: CSV Exports will provide dates/times in the associated account time zone

• • CSV export of MOS Score will provide the time in account time zone, previously these were exported with dates/times in UTC
  • The JSON Format Export will provide the time in UTC only
  • Get Classified Results API will now provide time in Account TimeZone Format

[CP-19195] - Fixed: Load Test Calendar - Validation Errors Executing Cruncher Campaigns

• • Cruncher Campaign Executions were failing with validation errors in certain scenarios, even though the scheduled time was valid and was attached to a confirmed booking slot.

[CP-19282] - Fixed: Force success right menu context option not working for "Lead" roles

• • An issue that did not allow user accounts with the Lead/User Admin roles to be able to perform Force Success on Pulse dashboard has been fixed.

[CP-19283] - Fixed: Mismatch between drop down selection and Tag content in Prompt text box

• • Resolved an issue where changing the value of a Step Variable comparison (EqualTo, Contains, etc.) would be reflected correctly in the Tag definition in the Prompt text box, but was not updated properly in the Tag Builder UI resulting in a mismatch these two.

[CP-19388] - Fixed: SMS - Optional Step not working for an Expect timeout

• • When an SMS step is marked as optional and the expect to hear times out, the Test Case will continue on to the next Step. It will correctly indicate a failure on the Test Case for this step once completed.
