CX Model Data Sets
When using Decision Nodes, an attached Data Set is required. See below for steps on how to Generate Data Sets from a CX Model or how to Upload an Existing Data Set to a Model.
Note: In the Cyara 7.8 Release, Downloading a Data Set from a CX Model will include unnecessary rows for each Notification present on the CX Model. Downloading the Data Set from the Data Set page, it will not include any notifications at all, giving you a clean Data Set. Editing and reuploading a downloaded Data Set that contains notifications will not introduce issues.
Generating a Data Set from a CX Model
Once your CX Model is complete, you can generate a pre-formatted data set with placeholder data that will be added to test cases generated from the Model.
To generate a Data Set from a CX Model click on Settings, from here click on the three dot menu on the right hand side of the data set menu, you'll have the option to either upload an existing Data Set or to generate a new one automatically.
Uploading an existing Data Set to a new CX Model
If you already have a spreadsheet matrix of scenarios in the format of a Data Set that you wish to use for the CX Model, you can attach this Data Set to the CX Model at the create screen as below, or via the settings menu on an existing CX Model. This allows you to see the Notification system describing which scenarios the CX Model does not yet cover and this will update in real-time as new Decision Elements are added.
