When exporting a Test Case from CX Models, in order to ensure both that the visual display of a menu transcription is legible and correct, and Cyara’s Speech Services recognizes and correctly pronounces this phrase, you can provide the appropriate phonetic spelling using a Custom Phrase.
To define a Custom Phrase:
- From the sidebar menu, select Custom Phrases in the CX Models section.
- Click the New Phrase button.
Enter the phrase as it reads in the
Original Phrase text field, and provide the
appropriate phonetic spelling in the
Transformed Phrase text field as shown
When importing a newly created Test Case in Cyara XML format, to ensure that Cyara’s Speech Services interprets and pronounces the original phrase ‘ATM’ correctly any time it appears in a prompt, define a Custom Phrase and spell 'ATM' using its phonetic spelling A T M (with spaces between each letter) in the Transformed Phrase text field.
- Click Save.
