To get started with the Quality Center Integration, note the following:
Licensing
Cyara Platform integration with Quality Center is not available by default in the Cyara Platform. A license is required for the integration to be available. If an integration license is required, please contact your Cyara Account Manager for assistance.
Platform Availability
Integration with Quality Center is only available for On-premises installations of the Cyara Platform.
Preparing QC
Before you begin exporting to Quality Center, it’s important to configure Quality Center for the incoming data as detailed in the following sections.
Creating Statuses
Two new statuses need to be manually created in Quality Center to avoid a loss of precision when exporting Campaign Results. These statuses are:
- Satisfactory
- Internal Error
If these statuses are not available in Quality Center during an export, then the following remapping will occur:
- Cyara’s Satisfactory status will be mapped to Passed.
- Cyara’s Internal Error status will be mapped to Failed.
Creating Fields
Cyara Test Cases and Test Case Steps need certain user defined fields to exist in Quality Center. If the fields do not exist during an export, the Cyara Platform will create them, as long as the credentials it is using to access Quality Center have privileges to add and remove fields in a project.
A field added to an entity will also be added to any linked or versioned entities, and for this reason Cyara recommends that a project be added to Quality Center specifically for Cyara testing.

Existing Cyara 4.x integrations with QC
If your Quality Center installation has received exports from a version of the Cyara Platform predating Cyara 5.x, you will need to manually update the following field in Quality Center to avoid data truncation:
- Entity: “TEST”
- Field: “Phone Number”
- Type: Change from “String” to “Memo”…
