Cyara's Cloud offer a service called "Outbound" to assist its clients with scaled testing of applications that provide some sort of outbound dialing experience to their customers. Such applications include predictive, preview, and progressive outbound dialers or those that provide virtual holding/queuing/callback for contact centers.
Cyara's Outbound service allows clients to test their applications at scale. This means Cyara is able to answer the few to many calls generated by an application and provide results on the customer experience.
Cyara Outbound test cases offer support for speech recognition, audio files, text-to-speech and DTMF. Similar Cyara's performance testing services, Cruncher and Cruncher Lite, Outbound has both full and lite services combined. What this means is that an Outbound subscription will provide a certain number of overall ports. Within this group of ports, Cyara provides a mix of 80% "lite" ports and 20% "full" ports.
Full ports provide support for speech recognition, audio files, text-to-speech and DTMF.
Lite ports provide support for only audio files and DTMF.
As a customer, when one prepares for outbound testing and gathers the testing requirements, please raise a ticket to Cyara Customer Response to have the outbound DID numbers provisioned and specify which percentage (up to 20% maximum) of full outbound ports are needed. Cyara will then be able to inform one of which DIDs provide the "full" outbound feature set.
NOTE #1: For large scale outbound testing, Cyara can provide up to a maximum of 1,000 full ports.
NOTE #2: Cyara does not guarantee a consecutive range of DIDs at this time when outbound numbers are provisioned, but will provide a best effort to do so when possible.
NOTE #3: At times, the association between an outbound DID number and its full or lite port type may change without notice. Please raise a ticket with Cyara if one observes a change to the supported feature set for a particular DID and Cyara will assist with resolving.
