- Create a new Test Case in the Cyara Web Portal. Click
the New Test Case menu item from the
Build menu in the Cyara Sidebar.
Give the Test Case a name – in this case we have called it – “Share Trader IVR - Login with quote”.
Enter the number to dial in the Called Number field.Note: The Called Number should be in the E164 format (without dashes, spaces, etc). The Minor Threshold count – in this case ‘3’ is the Minor Threshold count. If you have three or more Minor Threshold breaches in a run, it will indicate a failure.
The Major Threshold count – in this case ‘1’ is the Major Threshold count. If you have one or more Major Threshold breaches in a run, it will indicate a failure and an alarm will be raised.
- You can add notes and alert
messages if required.
- Add steps to the Test Case you have created:
Step 0
The first step is always Step 0 and this step allows you to:
Set the thresholds for call connect times using Major and Minor Thresholds. In the example below, we have specified values of 5 and 10 seconds. Therefore, calls are expected to be connected in less than 5 seconds. If a call takes between 5 and 10 seconds to connect, it will be considered a minor violation (satisfactory result), and if connection times are more than 10 seconds, it will be considered a major violation (failure).
- Once you have entered all
the required information, click
Add Step to add the Step to the Test Case.
Steps after Step 0
Expect to Hear Reply With Reply Type Welcome to share trader In our example above, we expect the prompt at Step 1 to be “Welcome to Share Trader”. The screenshot below shows an example of how information for this Step can be entered.
Note: The Min and Max Pause times have been set to ‘0’ since no reply has been specified. The Min and Max Pause times specify a random time interval in which a reply will be initiated. The PSST has been set to 0.4 seconds as the silence gap to listen for before triggering the Reply. After a period of 0.4 seconds of silence after hearing the first Expect To Hear prompt, the Cyara Call Engine assumes that the first prompt is over and will respond with the Reply With.
Set the Major/Minor Confidence Threshold limits.
Speech recognition accuracy has been set to 50% which is sufficient for most applications.
- Once all relevant information has been entered, click the Add Step button to add the Step.
