An Environment represents the telephony infrastructure of a single vendor that the Cyara Platform can connect Virtual Agents to. Environments provide the flexibility needed to facilitate multi-vendor support. If required, multiple Environments can be created for each Vendor, each with different configuration options.
Environments are also used to help test Platform migrations. An Environment can be created for each Platform and then have the same Test Cases run against it.
Environments are Channel-agnostic. The Channel type is defined at the Server level, rather than at the Environment level. This allows an Environment to group all of a Vendor's hardware under a single entity in the Cyara Platform. Attributes, stored as Key-Value pairs, can be set at either the Environment level to affect all Servers within that Environment, or set for a specific Server.
Ultimately, this allows Campaigns that are using different Channels to be executed against the same Platform.
Cyara supports the following telephony platforms for Cyara Virtual Agent. Click the links below for setup instructions.
- Amazon Connect
- Avaya AES
- Cisco CtiOS
- Cisco Finesse
- Twilio Flex
- Genesys Cloud
- Genesys Engage
- Genesys Engage Cloud (Versions 8.5 and 9)
- Nice CXone
- Sprinklr (Beta)
- Five9 (Beta)
- Cloud*
The "Cloud" Environment option is for Custom Setups and should not be used unless instructed by Cyara.
Environments require at least one server to be configured before Virtual Agents can be assigned. By default, a server will require a Primary Hostname/IP and a Port Number for Cyara to connect to; see below for further information on configuring an Environment Server for specific vendors.
