To enable database encryption, you need to make configuration changes to the Cyara Web Portal, Voice Scheduler, and Omni Scheduler configuration files.
Obtaining the Certificate Name and Thumbprint Values
Before you configure the Cyara Web Portal, Voice Scheduler, and Omni Scheduler configuration files, you need to obtain the values for the Certificate Name and Thumbprint fields.

Open a Command Prompt and run the command:
mmc.exe. A screen as shown below appears:

Click
File >
Add/Remove Snap-in. A screen as shown below
appears:
- Select Certificates and click the Add > button.

Select the
Computer account option in the following
screen and click
Next.

Select the
Local computer... option in the next dialog
box:
- Click Finish and then click OK.

Click
Certificates (Local Computer) >
Personal, then the
Certificates folder, and then double-click
on the certificate that was added. A screen as shown below appears:

Click the
Details tab and scroll down to the
Subject field and note down the
CN value:

Scroll down and make a note of the
Thumbprint value:
- Click OK.
Configuring the Cyara Web Portal
The Cyara Web Portal configuration is controlled by the contents of the web.config file, which is located in the physical folder of the Cyara Web Portal virtual folder (c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\CyaraWebPortal).
Configuring the Voice Scheduler
The Voice Scheduler configuration is controlled by the contents of
the
Cyara.Voice.Scheduler.exe.config
file, which is
located in the Voice Scheduler's install folder.
Configuring the Omni Scheduler
The Omni Scheduler configuration is controlled by the contents of
the
Cyara.Scheduler.Host.exe.config
file, which is
located in the Omni Scheduler's install folder.
