With the release of the Cyara Platform 2024.2 a new method of checking in a booking via the Cyara Load Test Booking calendar has been introduced.

This update has been introduced to allow Cyara to initialise all of the required hardware for a load test on time, so that users do not have to wait for their load test campaigns to begin. The process of checking in a Load Test Calendar Booking is similar to checking in for an airline, a short time prior to departure check-in becomes available, notifying the airline that you are in the lounge ready to travel. By checking in your Cyara Load Test, this informs our infrastructure that you are ready to begin the load test and Cyara can make all of the required preparations.

The process for checking in a Cyara Load Test Calendar Booking is as follows.

1. Create your booking by selecting a time slot on the Cyara Load Test Booking Calendar as usual and filling in the required details.
   
   
2. Your booking is now Pending Approval from Cyara Support.
   Note: For load tests that have a small number of ports, a booking is not required and your load test will automatically start.
   
3. Once your booking has been marked Approved by Cyara Support, you will receive an email to notify you and the booking will appear in the Load Test Booking Calendar with a green border.
   
4. 1 Hour before your requested load test booking start time, check-in will be available. On the Cyara Load Test Booking Calendar, select your approved booking and click the Check-in button.
   
   
5. You're all set!
   Your Cyara Load Test will begin at the scheduled time.
